Job Title: Social Media Manager

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts.
  2. Content Creation: Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).
  3. Brand Management: Manage and enhance brand presence in all social media channels.
  4. Analytics: Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  5. Trends Monitoring: Monitor SEO, user engagement and suggest content optimization.
  6. Competitor Analysis: Conduct research on competition and stay updated on latest social media best practices and technologies.
  7. Influencer Relationships: Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  8. Audience Engagement: Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.
  9. Crisis Management: Monitor customer reviews and feedback, and handle social media disaster situations appropriately.
  10. Training and Team Management: Provide constructive feedback and supervise all aspects of social media interaction among team members, offering guidance and facilitating discussion.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  2. Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  3. Technology: Familiarity with B2B and B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM.
  4. Platform Knowledge: Solid knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media best practices.
  5. Analytical Skills: Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  6. Creative Skills: Skills in content creation and excellent copywriting skills.
  7. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  8. Trends Monitoring: Familiarity with web design and publishing, with a strong awareness of current and emerging digital trends.
  9. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Emotional Intelligence: Ability to empathize and connect with a variety of audiences.
  11. Languages: Proficiency in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Desirable Skills (Not Essential):

  1. Certification: Certification in Social Media Management or similar.
  2. Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge in the specific industry of the company.
